China is expansive, making delivery around the undeveloped parts of the country expensive. To combat this delivery service SF Express is testing out drone delivery.

Android users in Australia will soon be able to schedule a rendezvous with a delivery drone by using the Flirtey app to get their latest textbook rental from Zookal.
Yo! Sushi
Diners at Yo! Sushi in London might not have to tip their servers soon. The chain is testing out delivering orders to tables with quadcopters at their Soho location and if all goes well, will float the idea to its other locations.

Like so many things that sound too good to be true, such was theTacoCopter. The Bay Area already boasts some of the best Mexican food in the country, but to think it could be delivered by octocopter was flying too close to the sun. The site turned out to be a hoax, but the dream lives on.

It was nothing more than a marketing ploy, but Domino's almost outdid Amazon's PrimeAir with theDomiCopter this past summer. Alas, the pizza-delivery system ended up just being an extra-cheesy stunt.

I have really seen a lot of smartphones brands trying to copy or at least make something similar to the truly multitasking of the Palm webOS and for the first time I can say Samsung has gone beyond Palm, thanks to the screen size of the Galaxy Note 3.

HP launched 4 new Slates Android tablets. Some of the specifications below:
- HP Slate7 Plus: Priced at $149.99, the most entry-level tablet of the bunch features a 7-inch 1280×800 display, 1.3GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 5-megapixel rear and 0.3-megapixel front cameras, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 4000mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. SD slot: up to 32GB.
- HP Slate7 Extreme (currently listed as “Out of Stock”): Stepping things up to $199.99 will get you a tablet with a 7-inch 1280×800 screen, 1.8GHz quad-core Tegra 4 chip, 5-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front-facing shooter, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage and 4100mAh battery. Like the Slate7 Plus, the Extreme comes preloaded with Android 4.2.2.SD slot: up to 32GB.
- HP Slate8 Pro (shown above): The most expensive Slate of the bunch at $329.99. The Aquatimer Chronograph Edition Galapagos Islands makes a statement about a partnership for the environment which IWC Schaffhausen has entered into with the Galapagos-based Charles Darwin Foundation. For 50 years now, the Foundation has been making visitors aware of the archipelago’s uniqueness and providing them with guidelines to ecologically sound behaviour. At the same time, it keeps watch to ensure that the waters are not plundered and that the animals do not fall victim to poachers or predators imported from elsewhere. IWC supports the work of the Foundation with a sizeable contribution generated by proceeds from the sale of the Aquatimer Chronograph Edition Galapagos Islands. This Aquatimer is the result of an evolution in watchmaking technology. The stainless-steel case undergoes a complex vulcanization process that leaves it with a matte-black rubber coating. This makes the watch, which is pressure-resistant to 12 bar, a joy to see and feel: as black as the lava on the volcanic islands and as white as the mist in which they are often shrouded.

Actual flexible smart display technology is taken us to a new age of mobile devices where manufacturers want to get consumers in the next generations of smartphones, tablets, hybrids and maybe small ultrabooks, with the 3 options of curved, bendable or foldable displays.
But, it is not just a matter of blowing bottles or just strike a match. OEMs are taking a phase one by one.
Samsung and LG took the first launch batch of CURVED smartphones/tablet with the ROUND and G FLEX respectively, this last with a differentiation advantage of a self healing back cover.
The interesting thing is whatever Samsung or LG do Apple will make it. Or viceversa. However Apple does not manufacture flexible displays, they will buy it made. Samsung and LG make their own flexible smart display. And that is an advantage for them, their mobile devices will come with unexpected hardware features.
That is great for all us, hoping OEMs will not neglect mobiles OS improvements on the way.
We will see in the first phase CURVED mobiles only with one principal and with two or three wrap side curved flexible display.
This phase of CURVED displays will take no more than one year 2013/ 2014.
In 2015 the first BENDABLE smartphones/tablets will take off for real. Sales will be boosted up for the first who comes out with these mobiles. The Samsung ROUND, LG G Flexand iPhone 6 will be history and the beginning of the end of the Gorilla Glass display smartphones. No more Glass.
Finally 2016/2017 the phase of FOLDABLE mobiles will start. Your smartphone or smartphone/tablet will fold at least in 4 sheets and will fit in your shirt pocket.
