China: Meizu launches world`s first 128GB smartphone.





Meizu from China has introduced its MX3 smartphone, the world's first phone with 128GB onboard storage. The device retails for ¥3,999 (approximately $656) for an unlocked version but works only with Chinese networks.

The Meizu MX3 smartphone was first showed off at the Beijing National Aquatics Center last September and has been released only in the Chinese market.

The smartphone works fine with TD-SCDMA networks. Since there are loopholes always, the MX3 can still be used outside China but if you are willing to give up your need to browse 4G, as well as 3G. The device will work through 2G GSM network internationally.
The MX3 sports also a 5.1-inch 1080p capacitive display, Samsung's Octa-core Exynos 5 processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Flyme 3.0I. The smartphone sports a 2,400 mAh battery for up to 14 hours of 3G, or 393 hours of standby time.
