Air Command™

Air Command provides quick access to your most important S Pen and device functions. The Air Command menu appears when you pull out the S Pen, simply press the button on your S Pen and the shortcut menu appears. If the S Pen is already removed, hover over the screen and press the S Pen button.

Galaxy Gear

Simplify your life all from your wrist with immediate notifications, calls and messaging―even lock and find your Note 3 with Galaxy Gear. Use S Voice™ on the Galaxy Gear to execute phone commands, send text messages and emails. Your Galaxy Gear can even receive real-time notifications, such as phone calls, calendar appointments, or text messages as they come in on your Galaxy Note 3.

Madrid, 25 de septiembre de 2013 – Hoy salen a la venta dos nuevos miembros de la familia GALAXY: Note 3, un nuevo dispositivo que mejora las prestaciones del modelo anterior con un peso y tamaño más reducido y una pantalla de mayores dimensiones, y GALAXY Gear, un complemento que permite al usuario estar conectado y recibir mensajes y llamadas en todo momento. Ambos dispositivos estarán disponibles con todos los operadores y retailers del mercado. GALAXY Note 3 podrá adquirirse a un PVPr de 749€, por su parte GALAXY Gear estará disponible a partir de un PVPr de 299€.

GALAXY Note 3, máximas prestaciones tecnológicas

Samsung GALAXY Note 3 incorpora múltiples mejoras sobre su predecesor Note 2. Cuenta con una pantalla de mayor tamaño (5,7”) full HD Super AMOLED, es más delgado (8,3 mm) y ligero (168 gramos), y cuenta con una batería más potente y de mayor duración (3.200 mAh). Asimismo, se encuentra equipado con una cámara trasera de 13 megapíxeles con Smart Stabilization y un flash LED CRI, que permite a los usuarios tomar fotos de momentos especiales con la máxima nitide, incluso en situaciones de baja luminosidad o en escenas en movimiento.

Samsung GALAXY Note 3 ofrece las últimas tecnologías LTE – CAT4 Carrier Aggregation y soporte al mayor número de múltiples frecuencias. Con la incorporación de la mayor memoria 3GB RAM del sector, GALAXY Note 3 también ofrece un rendimiento más rápido y potente.

El nuevo S Pen juega un papel esencial en lo que se refiere a comunicación ente usuario y dispositivo. GALAXY Gear, control y conectividad desde la muñeca

GALAXY Gear es un revolucionario dispositivo que permite a sus usuarios disfrutar de cada momento mientras están conectados a sus dispositivos Samsung GALAXY. Este nuevo dispositivo, situado en la muñeca, notifica los mensajes entrantes tales como llamadas, correos electrónicos y alertas ofreciendo la posibilidad, en el caso de los mensajes, de aceptarlos o ignorarlos discretamente. Cuando un mensaje entrante requiere mayor atención, el usuario puede coger sus dispositivos Samsung GALAXY y mediante la función Smart Relaydescargar el contenido completo en la pantalla.

Gracias a su altavoz incorporado, este dispositivo permite a los usuarios realizar llamadas de manos libres al mismo tiempo que mantiene las conexiones para las comunicaciones móviles sin interrupciones. Además, los usuarios también pueden transcribir mensajes, crear nuevas entradas en el calendario, configurar alarmas y echar un vistazo a la previsión meteorológica en GALAXY Gear gracias a la característica S Voice.

Gear presenta varias características que ayudan a los usuarios a capturar momentos significativos de su vida. Con la característica Memographer, una cámara de 1,9 megapíxeles, aquellos usuarios que estén en movimiento podrán grabar tanto fotos como video y crear registros rápidos de información importante o eventos de su vida, así como compartirlos en sus redes sociales.

Samsung Galaxy Gear reaches 800.000 units sold in two months.

Samsung Electronics said today Tuesday Nov 19th, 2013 ,its Galaxy Gear has become the world's most popular smartwatch with sales reaching 800,000 since its debut two months ago.

Priced at around $300, the Gear works as an accessory to its market leading Galaxy smartphone, with a small OLED screen offering basic functions like photos, hands-free calls and message notifications.

"It's the most sold wearable watch available in the market place...and we plan to expand its availability by expanding mobile devices that work with the Gear," Samsung said in a statement.

The Galaxy Gear was first laucnhed as a Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 companion assistant.

Samsung is bringing compatibility for its Galaxy Gear to Galaxy S 4 as well as the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II through an Android 4.3 update. While those are the big ones, the wearable will soon hook up to a whole swathe of Samsung devices (Galaxy S4 Mini, S4 Active, Mega 5.8, Mega 6.3, and Galaxy S4 Zoom) in an update.
