The Promotional Videos evoques some characters like Dick Tracy, Kirk from Star Trek, Power Rangers, Inspector Gadget, Knight Rider, the Jetsons, Predator, Smart, and more that used an smartwatch.
Samsung on these ads say the Gear is an "evolution" on these ideas and "a long time coming."
